Local Community Champion selected for Mearns Council By-Election

We are delighted to announce that local Mearns resident Tracey Smith has been selected by local party members as our candidate in the upcoming Council by-election for The Mearns on Thursday 7th November.

 

Tracey has lived in the Mearns for the last 20+ years, raising her family here and being active in her community. From parent councils, top community special interest groups Tracey has shown her dedication to the Mearns. Most recently, Tracey co-founded and is the current chair of the Save our Mearns campaign against SSEN pylons, raising the voices of the community on a local and national level. If elected, Tracey will be a great leader and community champion for the Mearns, tackling the issues that truly matter to Mearns residents.
